I always prefered the bayonet for intimidation, nothing like threatning to skewer someone to put the sh1ts up them.
Intimidation can be a powerful defence, even organised criminals didn't like putting up a fight when a group of lads with automatic rifles were backing up the police

It was very rare for the weapon to even have to be raised, let alone a round fired on those jobs
