There are repo covers out there, along with a fair amount of other repo parts.
Some of the original "OEM" parts that Honda supplies these days are actually re-manufactured parts from different producers than the originals - and aren't good. Pipes that have the wrong bends and don't fit, mirrors that are shaped incorrectly and covers and tanks that are the wrong color.
I bought some "OEM" mirrors for my CA77 Dream about 20 years ago, and recently tried to install them. They don't fit. The mirror won't rotate enough to be in the proper position. I actually found some info on the Internet about it. Up until then I couldn't figure out what was going on - it was a Honda part with the correct part number, but it wasn't right.
Mr. Honda would not be happy. I hear that after he passed some of the policies for parts availability changed for the worse.
