Thanks! After submitting my post realized my second question about the ECU was, how shall I say, 'uninformed'.
I've got a couple leads on used Solos and just wanted to make sure there wasn't a good reason to hold out for a Solo DL. For now it is a track day/daily rider so a plain Solo should be good enough.
