I don't think it's a waste man. See what I wrote above lol. I bought the 300 because i think it's a killer deal and great bike. You don't need to defend that with me.

To me, I think it's a good idea just so that you don't have to pay the insurance for a supersport. If I upgrade my 300 to my taste, i get the tailored bike and I still only pay $300/yr insurance. If I buy a zx6r, i'm paying over $1k. I could also see making a point for getting the 300 track ready for less (total). There's several reasons, I was curious what yours was.
