Happy to say, I got the bike started! However, I came across two items I can't seem to identify on various diagrams.

One is a pair of disconnected black & white wires (3rd pic) . My turn signals are fine, so is the horn, gauge lights, headlight, neutral, tach, temp and turn signal indicator.

The other is some type of socket(?). It's white and has an openeng at the bottom. Incidentally, the speedo cable rubs on it when I turn the handlebar.
