That should be fine. Just make sure it is secure and everything around it is secure. A
Canyon Dancer and ratcheting tiedowns make it much easier to secure it. Just use two straps for the handlebars and two more for a section of the frame near the passenger footpegs. I've tied mine down 3 times with this method; twice on a trailer and one time in the back of a pickup.
