The pod will let the most air in. (like having nothing on there basically)
Rejet and needle shim will be required no matter what going to pod. Expect to need a jet kit designed for a pod filter. Otherwise you won't get above 5-8k. lol

I used the factory pro 3.0 jet kit as per kkim's link.

IMO, the stock airbox is a PITA and the K&N r-0990 looks sweet with no runners while being easier to work on.

I dunno which has a better performance though.
