Each carburetor has one idle mixture screw. They are fuel adjustments, so screwing one in will make that cylinder leaner.
Exactly where you initially set them isn't critical, since it's important to do the final adjustment by warming up the engine fully and adjusting each screw for the highest idle speed. It's usually best to err on the side of a little rich.
