So, for me. I'm an aircraft structural engineer. I keep things flying....on paper. Ok, I do the math that makes sure flying things don't break and fall outta the sky.

I've worked on lots of VIP aircraft interiors (people with more money than they know what to do with....). Now, I work on heavy lift helicopters, specifically, the Air-Crane. Like this.

A couple of our birds are currently fighting the fires in SoCal. I've been lucky enough to get to ride on this beast a few times, and it is a fun ride (we even did autorotation twice while I was along for the ride).



BTW, there are some videos on photobucket there showing the water drop. Pretty impressive to see 2400 gallons drop in about 8 seconds.
