Yea I'm all for zero budget DIY stuff. I havent used titanium fasteners in any of my builds. Certain bolts and nuts need to be replaced because they strecth, so that'd be an expensive exercise.
Cutting off the excess length of bolts saves a meaningful amount of weight.
The battery we have at the moment is Unibat ULT2 (0,9kg). Changing that to a ULT1 would save 0,4kg. The ULT2 is big enough to start a 1000cc V4. I updated the first post.
