That's good idea! I was considering doing that and upgrading engine at same time. But AFM frowns on anything non-stock, so I gave up.
Now I'm racing with ASMA and they're much more relaxed. Anything's fair-game as long as you're under displacement-limit for class. There's even an Aprilia RS250 with Suzuki RGV-250 engine swap!
I'm thinking of building buff Ninja 350 engine now (smallest class)... or going 2-stroke... hmmm....
