Ah, didn't realize you were a newer rider.

I didn't quite get the hang of riding in heavier winds fully till about after 1500 or so km's on my 250.
Granted we get a lot of heavier winds here so it may take longer if you don't get it as often where you are.
And just getting more riding experience in general, doesn't have to be in windy conditions, will help you too.
