NY weather has been sucking but its been like that in a lot of places lately.
I also have those same shift boots/shoes. I have them in black, they're pretty comfortable and provide a decent amount of support for practicing and what not. They already survived an incident where i slid across the parking lot and they were fine.
Nice bike btw, I think the blue bike/white gear combo is awesome. I got red/black goin for me.
