I have read a lot of the posts, but not all, so forgive me if this has been said.
I think that people like going fast because it is fun for a lot of different reasons. People don't intentionality go too fast because they wouldn't be going that fast if they realized that it was "too fast." They are having fun and being enthusiastic when things suddenly get out of hand. That's when the panic ensues and that just makes shizz way worse. That's how I feel that crashes happen. It's liking jumping into a pool and then realizing how deep it is. I dunno, my opinion I guess
