True, I guess I could see debt in pursuit of being a lawyer/doctor or other generally well paying position as being not that bad though I do feel that debt avoidance is critical in the long term to ensure that your options are open. When I attain the degree that I'm currently working towards I'll have the option of entering the work force with it or continuing my education in the direction of a law degree without any debt weighing on my decision either way. If it turns out that at some point I need to cut hours and take out a loan then I will but only when it becomes a necessity.
