This guy has been known to chew up the chin straps on helmets if you're not careful where you put them down.
He also chews on the zipper pulls on my jackets and the cords on my riding pants.
None of my cats are afraid of us in full gear, and the dog is fantastic around bikes - very mindful to not get in the way and to wait until you're off the bike before jumping on you for attention.
