Often people mistaken me as a Chinese. Whenever I went to a Chinese trader they would speak mandarin to me. Sometimes they even asked if I am joking by saying I am not Chinese (they must probably thought that I am the newer generations, English speaking Chinese i guess?
). I could speak few mandarin and Cantonese words and would speak to them at first just for fun. hahaha.
This most probably because of my slanted eyes. Or maybe asians do look the same. Lol.
Any similar experience?
