[visordown.com] - Hesketh working on Bugatti Veyron of motorcycles

HESKETH has already sold 16 of its planned of its new ‘24’ models, opening the doors to an even more exotic machine in 2016.

In an interview with the Telegraph published today, the firm’s boss Paul Sleeman says that the firm is on target to sell all 24 of the limited-run machines before the end of 2015 despite the Hesketh’s £35,000 price tag.

Next up, apparently, is an even more exotic and expensive bike, which Sleeman likens to the world’s fastest production car.

'If the 24 is like an Aston Martin,' he said, 'we’re working on a Bugatti Veyron.'

It’s worth noting that a Veyron is also many times more expensive than an Aston Martin, which hints that the next Hesketh could have an even more outrageous price tag than the existing 24. Whether the new machine will really be a record-breaking speed machine, like the Veyron, is yet to be seen. But given the Bugatti is just as well know for its £1.5 million price tag as for its 250mph-plus top speed, we can be sure he’s not talking about a budget, mass-produced model.
