Congratulations!
I took my MSF classes on a 2002 ish Ninja 250. The instructor told the class that the bike was harder to ride than the cruisers but will make a really good rider out of you.
I got there early just to snag the Ninja. Didn't really have to as I think the other students shy-ed away from the little sport bike. No one rode the Buell Blast that was available.
