I hear that. When you get a solid player on the harmonica, it really sounds good.
I've been improving a lot. For those who have been in string world, I'm still in first position, but I feel more comfortable. Started playing double-stops as well. The hard thing is still getting the feel for proper bow placement. I got a cheap shoulder rest and I am having issues with it. So my parents demanded gift ideas. I have two new shoulder rests, one is eh in price, and another was like $45. I hope that one works wonders. I've seen pros use it and I think the design is much improved over the $10 ones.
I do enjoy the challenge of a fretless fingerboard. Mad respect to any guitarist/bassist and other string players who can master it. Intonation is a big B with these, but I have to admit, even with that, it is so much fun.
