Yeah, Do that mod ASAP. A better suspension will definitely help your bike feel more planted, and the extra ride height(rexbo's linkages) Will definitely make your turn in sharper...
Alternatively, you can take Alex's advice and make infinitely adjustable linkages using some threaded studs and well @
