I went the opposite direction. I had an 02 Specialized Allez and rode the piss out of it. After the MSF, I fell in love with motorcycling and the Kawi Eliminator (yeah, the 125cc one), and paid for one by trading my bicycle in+cash. I regret it because I've since gained weight, but I can never see myself not riding.
