The Canadian Ninja 400 was just a 650 sleeved down to a lower displacement. That's the last thing I want, and I'm assuming many Ninjette riders would agree with me based on the comments I've seen about the 650 feeling relatively big and clumsy.

The bike maybe, but the power unit is actually pretty compact and light. I seem to remember somwhere reading it was smaller and lighter than the 500 unit.
