Thanks. I've heard good things about Shinko tires, but have always used BT45s on the 250. I know guys who do track days on those and have trusted them. I wish there were an easy way to compare real-world traction between the Bridgestones and the Shinkos.
I've read on forums that wet traction is better with BT45s than Shinko 740 and 741. When I got my 250 it had a Kenda Cruiser on the front and it wouldn't do a stoppie. With a BT45 it will.
