I guess I should take my street-bike to track-day at Thunderhill and get some lap-times. But it wouldn't be fair comparison as BT-45 times were on 5-yr old OEM tyres when I started at track. I'm much faster now and Shinkos would be 1-yr old...

I think both tyres have sufficient traction to go way, way too fast on streets. I think you're more likely to run out of good-judgement and skill before reaching limits of these tyres.
