Carbs cleaned - Diaphragm ripped - Options?

Hi everyone,

I have 1999 Ninja 250 - Love the bike. The bike sat for ~8 months and the carbs were not drained. This resulted in the small jet being clogged. A full carb cleaning was performed. When removing one of the black caps on the carbs, the diaphragm had a small piece just lying there. I did my best to take it off carefully - no idea how it ripped but it did.

To not ruin the day I took some super glue type adhesive and patched it. It actually worked and the bike rode the best it ever had in the 5 years I have owned it. Cold starts with no choke and purrs like a kitten.

I am thinking the super glue will fail - especially when gas hits it. Havent started it since a week ago fixing it. Regardless I want to replace the diaphragm, I do not want to risk being stranded over $50-$100.

Options:

$79 ready to go drop in, probably aftermarket: https://www.ebay.com/itm/332514969884

$33 Latex diaphragm only - No plastic post: https://www.ebay.com/itm/332293461175

Is the diaphragm assembly actually serviceable where I could replace just the latex part? I tried to find videos and none of the videos seemed the same type of assembly as the Ninja 250 one.

Any other suggestions? Diffrent retailers? The OEM part from part stores is $150+, crazy.
