Doesn't even have to be 20-yrs old! Just sitting for 4-6 months appears to be all that's needed to clog carbs with modern petrol! Might as well do full job 1st time around. Or else you're going to be pulling those carbs again... and again....
Or send them to ducatiman for expert service and fast turnaround! Takes less time than spending over a week scrubbing these things endlessly!
