Hey guys And. Gals I’m new to bikes.

I have a couple issues with the bike. I’ve cleaned the carbs and set the float height. If the bike is setting straight it idles around 1400rpm if I sit it on the kickstand tilted the bike idles around 1600-1700 rpm. I let it idle on the kickstand for about 10-15 mins and it started to overheat and water boiled out of the reservoir.

Are these bikes know to overheat at idlefor long periods? I’m going to test the thermostat and radiator cap tonight.
