I have no health insurance so I made sure to get uninsured motorist, medical, etc on my policy. It's also my primary transportation so I have to be insured even for potential run-ins with walls/pavement or out-right theft. That said, I'm doin' $50 a month with Progressive. I have a good driving history and am now 29yo. I started the policy Aug 08 when I was 27yo but I haven't renegotiated after a year plus of experience because I still don't have health insurance. Also, it would be much cheaper if I weren't paying monthly, but I just can't save up to pay a significant amount in advance (3, 6, or 12mo rates).
