I've been resistant so far. There are the Social Groups that different areas have set up (pull down the community menu), but there hasn't been much traffic in the ones that do exist. I know that the group rides threads for some areas get quite busy and heavily viewed.

I guess I was worried about setting up a bunch of regional subforums that would then be relatively stagnant, and empty/slow forums are never a good thing on a growing site. What regions would be helpful for folks? I wouldn't want to set up 50 state forums, but then is breaking it down by regions even helpful? They have done that up on kawiforums:

http://www.kawiforums.com/usa/

but even on that site which gets more overall traffic than here, many of the regional areas have gone months without a single new post.
