9-24 augusta,ga to deals's gap moonshiner 28. instead of takin 28 all the way from augusta, we are going to cut the corner. naturally we will stop by georgia guidestones(top 10 weirdest things to see in georgia) will cut across lake hartwell and dump back into south carolina, go thru westminster and head for wahalla(start of the moonshiner). will check out cool waterfall

head to franklin nc, gas up and continue on 28 all the way to deal's gap
check in at the lodge. ride the dragon. buy beer and start settling in

one twist to this route.we will take tenn 360 up to cut the corner. we took tenn. 68 in may. it was lame and way to many stop lights

will pick up tenn 411 and head for tenn 72( 72 junctions in on us129.)
stop at dragon pit for lunch(great texas style)
head down us129 from the top side, might do a little foothills parkway too.
head back to the lodge. ride the crapout of the dragon. party, and them party some more.
final day. ride the dragon in the morning and try to make up to the overlook and see the sunrise.( usually hungover)

head to maggie valley. check on wheels thru time motorcycle museum.( heard it was closed-covid crap) pick up highway 209 "the rattler" ride it all the way to hot springs nc. stop and eat, then head for greeneville tenn. were my ridin partner has family( he rides a yamy fjr1300)
