Also are there any racks that go a little bit higher? I have an integrated brake/turn signal so I would imagine having a case right above the brake light like showing in those pictures would be an issue.

The racks are built specific to the model ordered for, so no modifications are needed. There is no way to raise them, but cars can still see your light, so no problems. I'm going to be selling mine, so let me know if you're interested. It's for the 2008-2012 model.
