I vote for "STICKY" also! I don't feel safe without all my gear. I have Kevlar Jeans but don't fell they are enough--after reading some of the info above, I now know they are not even close to enough!
I would also like to comment on how bad the American attitude is towards people wearing full gear! I have had people make comments when I took a ride in my full leathers just to try them before my first track trip ever. Pull up next to the average cruiser guy in Connecticut (no helmet law) in Full one piece leather, Boots, studded Gauntlet gloves and helmet and they laugh! He was wearing T-shirt, Jeans and low cut boots! No Gloves and no Helmet, just sun glasses and I'm the one that deserves ridicule?
