Chone is on the right track with this, you could grind down the front mount on the cylinder head but I didn’t I went with the 300 bracket. As far as what fuel system I’m using: 250 with the stock pregen carbs, I am on the fence about getting the k&n filter.
As far as that starter question you have to use the correct start per motor, I had to buy the 300 starter because I thought the 250 would fit until I tried it and I got a big fat wrongggg
