Today was a good day. I got some stuff in the mail for the bike which prompted me to work on it. I put on a cheap ram mount clone with a built in USB charger. I used some T-taps to wire it to the low beam headlight so it only draws power when the bike is on.

I managed to undo the stripped screw on my front brake reservoir (hint, hammer the screwdriver into the screw). Now I can switch to the steel brake line like I put on the rear. The new one is a few inches longer than stock though, so I hope I don't get any kinking.

I also flushed and redid my coolant, which hasn't been done in 6 years

Its refreshing that everything I've gotten the guts to do is simpler in reality than it is in my inexperienced mind. I'm learning to really not be afraid of doing my own maintenance.

Next up, another oil change, and then maybe if I'm feeling confident fixing the leaking fork seal.
