What you are doing (150 mi day/5 days per week) is really easy on oil.
Oil change intervals are just guidelines. When doing consistent long trips with hours at operating temp, you are reducing your contaminates significantly over short trips or even moderate riding. In that case you can safely stretch your change intervals.
For you, 3000 mi on your oil is really not asking much - especially if you run a decent synthetic oil.
