Throttle kills the bike

Hi guys, so out of boredom and winter blues, I took the carbs out and put it back in, I'm an HVAC Mechanic so I felt comfortable removing it and putting it back in. I didn't do anything to the carbs beside taking them out and putting them back in. Now when I start my bike, it idles beautiful, I usually keep it around 1700rpm. As soon as I move the throttle the bike dies on me. Not sure where I ****ed up. The only thing I was unsure of was the cables coming back from the throttle, I'm not sure how tight the two nuts are supposed to be that attach to the carb. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.
