One thing I never do is dissemble a bike until I have it running. Maybe the tires are toast, but I want to hear it run, and maybe take a short run at low speeds through the gears.
You have spend a shat load of time taking it apart and even longer to get it back to a condition where you may try to start it. To me just wasted time. First run, then dissemble to correct issues.

Not sure what I would do with your pile of parts.

I do wish you all the best and have fun as you rebuild. I would try to make sure it runs before I spend a dime on other parts.
