I can't remember if it was South or North Dakota that we learned he car we had at the time (1974 Gran Torino, loved that car) felt the same whether we were doing 60mph or 90mph. Luckily there were no cops to see, and we got slowed down to where we belonged....
Sorry you got pulled over. I don't generally split on the right side of the roads, nor near exit ramps, and not when there's only one line of cars, like on an exit. I don't remember the specific geography of downtown there, and I know the 110 is a mess for a lot of its length, but there might be a better way to do it next time.
