Again, you're welcome. The stock seat's rear section is flat and nearly level. You can see in the photo I posted that a modest tail bag straps down nicely. It'll take larger packs too. I understand if your plan includes modifying the seat though.
Bill, thanks... As I remember, the fender has a rear section that you can just unbolt and remove. When you do that, the front section has a couple pieces that hang down on the left and right sides, so yes, I then trimmed them off with a hacksaw.
