The part touching the headlight doesn't need to be super smooth because it won't be seen, just the exterior. Other thing you might consider is how thick you want the part to be. You may need several layers. I actually have a spare headlight I could experiment with if I was motivated enough to do so. lol

I was trying some stuff out with paper on top of the headlights, just to see how it would look. if you look near the bottom of the headlight, the fairing is about 1 1/2 inches above the actual light, so we would have to make it flush with the headlight. just a thought.

we could sandwich a piece of Styrofoam between FG to fill the gap too
