Plenty of cheap bits on ebay for these bikes in Australia so replacing the tank, front guard and side panels was easy. All the bling plus the Musarri exhaust system all came from eBay as well.
A valve adjustment was carried out and the Pre-Gen clutch replaced with one from a 2010 model. The original automatic cam chain tensioner was replaced with a Kreiger manual one. The bike now sounds like a sewing machine! To manage the clutch basket nut I made up a clutch basket holder from one of the steel pressure plates and a bit of scrap angle iron. Worked a treat. Hopefully a couple of pictures attached.
