I lady friend of mine is always cranking on me when I slow down a-bit when approaching an intersection. She'll say, "They have a red light" or "They have a stop sign." I simply reply that it doesn't mean they're going to stop. I've been doing the same thing for over 50 years when riding my motorcycle.
