I'm in the suburbs of Charlotte. Traffic is crazy here on the highways, but we got a lot of nice twisty back roads here to ride. I usually don't stray too far from the area, but I got in with a local sport bike riders group on Fb. We get together and ride every Saturday. You are welcome to come ride anytime.
