I replaced mine because I finally found one on eBay in good condition and a good price. So I put on a new cluster gauge and upper head light fairing. Most of the work was getting the fairing lined up and back on perfectly. Such a headache. I shouldn’t feel this worn out  |
It's a pain for sure. Just make sure you don't tighten any screws until you have all the threads started. Easy peasy. I do wish it was easier to pull a spark plug though.
