I changed out my OEM turn signals for flush-mount units mostly for aesthetic value , not so much for visibility to other motorist's as when I jump on my motorcycle, I assume that I "Become Invisible" to other's, and act accordingly.
For the most part, they just don't look for you or see you coming when you are riding on two wheels!
