I actually just said to heck with it and started. Here is what I discovered:
Forks swap cleanly.
Calipers bolt cleanly.
If this is a 300-to-250, you will have to find a way to hold the brake line and speedo cable away from the tire.
The fender-stay and gender have to go with the forks, unfortunately.
