Since speedometer is driven off cable, it's safe to assume wheel-driver and cable are perfectly fine since speedo reads correctly. Issue is with odometer mechanism itself in between speedometer and odometer. Might have been damaged in some way. Most likely some of gears have sheared teeth. |
