And all that mess is why you only do it with rental cars - still, everyone should have a go at least once.
As someone else pointed out though, you were riding on an unprepared surface - it's not packed like when they try to set records. When I did it in a rental car it got really unbalanced at around 85, because the surface wasn't packed.
