There are lots of great roads on the south shore. I lived in Milton for years. The Blue Hills are great to ride (Chickatawbut Rd). If you tell me about where you are I can tell you where I used to ride.
It is still only April. The roads are still covered with sand, pot holes, and the weather is still cold so the roads don't have much grip. Stay off the numbered roads and you won't have to deal with too much traffic.
Learn to use a map to find back streets between different towns.
When you ride a motorcycle you are never lost, you are just finding new ways to get places.
